Carony® Classic

The car seat that transforms into a wheelchair has been one of our flagship products for nearly 30 years. A caregiver swivels the seated user out of the car and docks the Carony chassis. The entire seat then easily slides onto the chassis and becomes a standard wheelchair. Going into the car is the same simple procedure in reverse.

Turny® Low Vehicle
The Turny Low Vehicle is a swivel base that rotates and moves the car seat almost completely outside the vehicle. This makes it easier for you to sit down or transfer from a wheelchair. Once you’re in the extended seat you push a button and the Turny Low Vehicle will move you inside the car.
The Turny Low Vehicle is the most advanced swivel seat on the market today. It has unique features that makes it possible to use in car models where other swivel bases won’t work.
Seating Options
Compact seat
Economic low built seat.
Compact Seat is a safe and economical alternative to other more feature rich car seats that is designed to blend in with the vehicle’s interior.
The optional Plus kit raises the front of the seat cushion which increases seating comfort and helps prevent users from sliding forward. We highly recommend this kit on all Compact Seat installations.
GS seat
A highly adaptable seat for children and people of short stature.
On the GS Seat almost everything can be individually adjusted, for example the seat depth and the position of each arm rest in all three dimensions. The GS Seat also has a wide number of accessories that will help further adapt the seat to a user’s specific needs.
Designed with the growing child in mind, the GS Seat can be adjusted to provide comfortable and safe seating.
Recaro Specialist L
Comfortable and ergonomic low built seat.
The Recaro Specialist L seat is a low built seat with a bucket seat cushion. Pull-out seat extensions together with robust side bolsters of the backrest ensure a comfortable and ergonomically correct driving position.
The Recaro Specialist L is tested and approved according to M1 standards in combination with Turny and Turnout.
Turny® 6-Way
The Turny 6-Way makes it easy to get from the wheelchair to the front seat and vice versa. As the name suggests the seat lift can move in 6 directions; up, down, forward, backward as well as rotate left to right. This means that you can bring the seat backwards, rotate it to face the inside of the car and set to your desired height.
Basically, you move the seat into an optimal position for you to transfer to and from your wheelchair. Once seated you have the luxury of using the controls to position yourself exactly as you like. The Turny 6-Way can be installed on the driver’s side as well as on the passenger’s side.
Transfer Board
Our transfer board is a simple aid to help you when getting seated in the car. The board folds out right next to the seat which gives you an amply sized platform to make a short stopover before sliding over to the seat. Once you’re comfortably seated you can fold away the transfer board until you need it again. A transfer board is sometimes referred to as a transfer plate or a tip-up plate.
